The nurses here are phenomenal. I’ve been to emergency a few times and also given birth here and every nurse I’ve met has been wonderful. Special thanks to nurse Jenn the bone nurse who is funny, kind and goes above and beyond advocating for her patients. Every nurse in l&d (especially the nurse Emily who brought me in for my C-section and stayed with me) made me feel so well taken care of during my time there, thank you ladies.

I did not wait too long at triage, about 15-20 minutes and the nurse was great! She was very kind and I really appreciate her so much. I did not have a major issue, I did need to get stitched up; and I wish I got her name but she was wearing a pink sweater and I am grateful for her because she was able to make my first experience at this hospital great. I was able to get registered right after and the wait time for getting treated did not take longer than 2 hours. I do recommend this hospital. It is a bit of a drive but it’s worth it as the wait times aren’t as hectic and the staff are great! Plus parking isn’t expensive either.

I had the most incredible experience giving birth at this hospital on August 8 as a first-time mom. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Nurse Sydney, who was on duty that night. She was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, Sydney provided me with unwavering support and kindness, making me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. I had a short stay at this hospital and was impressed with the quality of care I received. Even though its a smaller older hospital it was super clean and is under going some renovations to update it. There is lots of parking and a cute well stocked gift shop. I was very well cared for and the staff were excellent.

I visited the ER today and, as far as ER visits go, it was an excellent experience. The wait time was reasonable, and the nurses were amazing—attentive, kind, and professional. I was treated by a younger attending doctor whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, but she mentioned she was working under the supervision of another physician. She was incredibly polite, understanding, never dismissive, and made me feel like uncovering the cause of my pain was her top priority.

While I hope I won’t need to return to the ER anytime soon, I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided. It’s clear that this team genuinely cares about the well-being of the patients who walk through their doors needing help. I left feeling reassured that my health was in good hands, with peace of mind that I’ll be feeling better soon.

Wait time obviously long i was expecting a 12 hour wait but was only 6 . Nurses and Drs were very kind and attentive. One held my hand when doing the lung fluid drain when i was in pain. Drained a good litre out, painless. Dr handles the freezing injections i barley felt anything other then when fluid was removed my lung expanding hurt.. really great staff here. If i need to go to a hospital im for sure choosing this one

Went to emergency the other day. Room was full but staff were great!! Ive been to other places numerous times over the years and always felt like an inconvenience to both the triage nurses and docs!! Sturgeon was amazing, felt valued, respected and to top things off i received follow up calls and have 3 more appointments to clear up all my issues rhat i initially went in to address!!!!!
