I come to this famoso all the time with my family and have been since it opened when I was still in high school. Came here for dinner with my mom and a friend, our server Bella went above and beyond to give us exceptional service from the moment we walked in to until the moment we left. I accidentally dropped my pizza on the ground and she got me a replacement one. She checked on us many times throughout our stay and was lovely to be around. Highly recommend famoso for food always but this location and especially Bella being our server made it truly exceptional! ☺️

We really like Famoso but it had been a while since we had been and it was still really good.

The tomato bisque they have is delicious and for $9 comes with 2 small pieces of garlic toast. I think the soup is still worth it but was disappointed at the pricing for the pizza. They used to have a good lunch special but now it's definitely way overpriced. I had the 7 inch pepperoni mushroom and soup combo which ended up costing $22.50! The soup and pizza did taste great but for the size of the pizza the combo is definitely not worth it. Not sure we will go back due to how expensive they've gotten.

Dropped in to have a quick bite. Ordered a standard vegetarian pizza.

Pizza was good, tasty and flavourful. Service was fine and the place had good vibes. Overall a good experience.

I haven't been to famoso in a hot minute, but boy did I miss it. Their bisque is amazing as always (if you haven't had it before and you wanna feel that warm feeling of home, try the bisque). My friend and I had come during happy hour and the options were great! The food is just so good, so to catch them during happy hour is a steal. They offer takeout in all their open locations, dine-in for some. Highly recommend.

For a place that specializes in pizza mine was a disappointment. The center of the pizza was wet and seemed under cooked. Have been to several other pizza places in the city which have a much better product.

Service was quick but the waitress wasn’t very welcoming. Almost like we were inconveniencing her by being there.

Will not return anytime soon as there are several other better pizza options.

The service was really fast and very friendly staff. The food was quite delicious as I was dining in with someone else and shared 3 of their pizzas. Love their neapolitan style pizza. Fresh soft crust, and I always enjoy the Italian sodas. The blood orange flavor is pretty good

Been coming to this loction for a while now. Always have great pizza's, great service and great management. Always been great about substitutions or adding daiya cheese and removing dairy frim pizza's. Food comes to the table very fast and hot. Also bathrooms have also been very clean. Always a great value for what you get.

The last time we had Famoso was the one at WEM. We loved that restaurant and it was sad to see it close down.

The one at Magrath in Edmonton was a bit of a disappointment. First off, not sure why they preferred to use cool white/daylight for their lights. It just ruins the mood for a relaxing and comfortable dining experience. Felt like we were having dinner at a Mcdonald's or a DQ. The restaurant felt kind of cold too, which made our food get colder much faster. Not 10 minutes have passed and our food was already cold. The waitress also lacked the enthusiasm and energy serving us.

The quality of the pizza and the price we paid ($20-$30 / 12" pizza) I think is not what I would say the best anymore. It's different compared to the Famoso pizzas we had years ago. Times have changed, I guess.
